## What is SEOPro?

SEOPro is a Shopify App that enables Shopify merchants to increase traffic from Google. SEOPro enables you to fix SEO issues and optimize your SEO content.

Getting on the first page of Google can get you 30% more traffic. It is possible to get to the first page - but it takes **time and persistance**.&#x20;

If you get your on-page SEO wrong, no matter how many backlinks you build, you will not attract the right customers.

SEOPro includes a collection of tools that will help you increase traffic to your Shopify store.

### Fix SEO issues

Go over the SEO issues detected in the SEO editor and begin fixing each of them. The editor will give you live SEO recommendations, suggestions on what to do next. This is a really important step, and only needs to be done once for each page.

### Bulk Optimization

Update all of your alt text, page titles, meta descriptions and product URLs with our bulk optimization tool. Use the bulk optimization tools along with the audits to make sure that the product and collection pages are optimized the right way and includes the keywords in the titles, descriptions and meta tags.


# Find Shopify Product SEO Issues

How to find and filter SEO issues in Shopify Products

To find the SEO issues currently existing on your Shopify Store, Open SEOPro and click on "View product editor"

From here, you'll see a list of your Shopify products

### SEO Score

For each product, you'll see a "score". The score indicates the level of quality of the SEO for this product page.&#x20;

There's 3 possible SEO scores:

1. **Perfect**: green smiling emoji. Means the SEO score is perfect.
2. **Almost**: yellow emoji. Means you're almost there, the SEO is good, but it could be perfected.
3. **Bad**: Sad orange emoji. Means the SEO is really bad.

What you want is to have the perfect score for every product in your Shopify store.&#x20;

### Filter by SEO issues

There can be many reasons why a product can have a bad score, you can filter by type of issues using the filter menu:

Using a filter will isolate all the products with the selected issue. Here's a live example:

### Search by title

You can filter down the results by specifying a title filter. Simply type in the search bar and press "enter". You will get back only the products with title containing the word your searched for.

## Get Started

To get started, follow these instructions:

1. Open the **Products Editor**

2. Choose a product with a bad SEO score you want to fix

## Product Title

SEOPro runs a SEO check for your Shopify Product Titles. It will check that:

* Your targeted keyword is included in your title
* There's at least 40 characters in the title

SEOPro will warn you if those conditions are not met and will help you improve your Shopify Product Title to ranking higher on Google.

## Product Description

SEOPro runs a SEO check for your Shopify Product Description. It will check that:

* Your targeted keyword is included at least twice in your description
* There's at least 200 characters in your description

SEOPro will warn you if those conditions are not met and will help you improve your Shopify Product Description to ranking higher on Google.

## Meta Description

SEOPro runs a SEO check for your Shopify Product Meta Description. It will check that:

* Your targeted keyword is included in your meta description
* That your meta description has an optimal number of characters

SEOPro will warn you if those conditions are not met and will help you improve your Shopify Product Meta Description to ranking higher on Google.

If you're on the Pro plan, SEOPro can generate an optimal meta description for you using AI trained on millions of meta descriptions.

# What are Shopify Product Collections?

Seopro can help you find SEO issues with your product collections

### What are product collections?

Product collection are group of products you can create in the Shopify admin interface. You can access them by going to "Products -> Collections".&#x20;

Product collections are visible on your Shopify store. The URL is usually `yourdomain.com/collections/your-collection-name`

This means that the product collection page brings traffic from Google to your Shopify store and that the SEO can be optimized with Seopro.&#x20;

# Find Shopify Collection SEO Issues

How to find and filter SEO issues in Shopify product collections

Seopro can help you find SEO issues with your product collections. Start by opening to the Seopro's "**Collections Editor**" tool in Seopro.

This will open a page where all your Shopify product collections are listed along with a SEO score.

There's 3 possible SEO scores:

### Find by a collection by title

You can quickly find a product collection by searching for it's title. Simply search for it's name in the seach bar and press "enter":

# Where to find bulk editor tools?

These are the available bulk editor tools:

The bulk editor tools are very useful if you want to update the SEO properties of multiple Shopify elements at the same time. The following SEO properties can be updated with the bulk editor tool:

* Shopify Collections

# Bulk Update: Shopify Images Alt Text SEO

Learn how to optimize the SEO of Shopify Products' image alt text.

Updating the alt text of Shopify Product's images is one of the most important SEO optimization you can do. It's pretty painful to do this manually, therefore SEOPro have created a bulk editor tool that allows you to optimize the SEO of all of your Alt Text at the same time.&#x20;

## Bulk update Collection Titles

1. Open the Bulk Editor for Shopify Product Collections titles

Please note that if you select "Optimize ALL collection page titles", all your previous collection page titles will be updated to the new format. But if you select "Optimize ONLY EMPTY collection page titles", only missing collection page titles will be updated.

# Blog Article Generator

The purpose of a blog is to drives users to your store who are in the *research phase of making a purchase.*

> Example: Someone is considering buying an AC cooler for their home. Before they start looking for brands to purchase from, they may start doing some research on AC cooler’s so that they can make an informed purchasing decision.

> They may search keywords like “What type of air coolers are best for home use?” or "Which are the best AC Coolers for a small room?"

These research-based blogs also helps your product and collection pages rank higher too. This is because these blogs builds topical relevancy. Topical relevancy means that if you have a ton of content surrounding one topic: i.e. AC cooler, Google will see you as an authority for that topic, and rank all of your pages for that topic higher.

Your goal should be to rank for all these research-based keywords, so your store attracts anyone expressing interest in purchasing a product you sell.

We encourage you to use this tool to come up with topics and sub-topics, but to write the main content of the blog yourself, or using a high-quality human writer. It is not recommended to use AI to write the whole blog for you. This is because it’s cheap and faster to use AI, and everyone will be writing content with AI.

So, how are you going to stand out among your competitors? *By writing the content yourself.* Use this tool to come up with topics and an outline, and then write around 200 words for each sub-topic yourself or by outsourcing to your writing team.

# Install SEOPro

How to install SEOPro on your Shopify store

## Option 1: Install from the Shopify App Store

The easiest way to install SEOPro on your Shopify store is to click on this link: [Install Seopro](https://apps.shopify.com/image-alt-texts-optimizer?utm_source=help.seo-pro.app\&utm_medium=organic)

This will bring you to the Shopify App Store where you can install SEOPro. Simply click on the "Install" button on the page.&#x20;
